DAQ Investments (Pty) Ltd, trading as DAQ Geotech, provides geotechnical and rock engineering services from the West Rand of Gauteng to mines and infrastructure owners across Southern Africa.
Who we are
DAQ Geotech was founded to give mining operations direct access to senior geotechnical expertise without the overhead of a large consultancy. Our work draws on experience from ultra-deep gold, platinum, chrome, coal and copper-gold operations, both open pit and underground.
We work where ground conditions, mine design, structural stability and operational constraints interact: the problems that need engineering judgement, not just more data.

Commitment to safety
Our work is aligned with the Mine Health and Safety Act, recognised geotechnical engineering standards and risk-based ground control. We help operations build and maintain Ground Control Management Plans, codes of practice, TARPs and standard operating procedures that crews can follow.
